1. What's the best way to reach the farm for general questions?

  • We are mostly on the road or at the farm during the day, so the best way to reach us is by sending us email at thefarmersdaughter.csa@gmail.com. If it's an urgent matter that can not wait, you may try us on the phone, as well, at 559-994-9938. This number is also listed in the Contact & Details section on all our product pages on the site.

2. I am unable to login to my account. Can you help?

  • If you already have a login account, but forgot your login ID/username, you can find it in the email you received from SharedMall upon signing up. If you can not find that email, please contact SharedMall Support for help with retrieving your account.
  • If you forgot your password, please click on the Forgot Password link on the login page and follow the instructions to receive email with instrucitions to reset password. In the event that you perform an action that takes you to SharedMall.com during the password reset process, you may need to return to FarmersDaughterCSA.com to continue.

3. Do you have a price comparison of the various box options offered?

4. I am having technical issues that prevent me from placing an order. Can you help?

If you are new to the online ordering process, please follow the instructions in the step-by-step ordering guide. If you are having unrelated "technical" issues that prevent you from completing the checkout process, please contact SharedMall here for assistance.

5. You offer so many choices and I'm not accustomed to your online ordering system. Can you explain so I can choose the right option?

  • We offer you the following choices:
    1. Pre-pay for future CSA boxes (1, 8, or 16 weeks of KMK Box, or "Custom box") - Order any of these and we will deliver the box to your preferred location each week.
      • If you pre-pay for "KMK" box, after receiving your pre-payment order and payment online we will choose what goes into your box and you will not have the option to customize it.
      • If you pre-pay for "customized" box, after receiving your pre-payment order and payment online we will credit your account for the money received and you will then be able to order as many items and as frequently as you wish, by customizing your box each week, until your credits expire. See below for 'Customize a box'.
      • Pre-paid box options offer you lower pricing on most CSA items.
    2. Customize a box - You can either pre-pay for credits and and "customize" a box with as many products as you wish, as frequently as you wish, using your prepaid credits, or you can customize a box without prepaying, and pay at the time of pickup or pay online at the time of order, as you please.
      • If you've pre-paid for "custom" box option
        • Your order total will show $0 (zero dollars) as long as you have adequate credits in your account, and your credits will be debited as you place new orders.
        • If your order total is $0.00, your order will be set to COD payment choice by default and you will not see the PayPal payment option. If you have credits in account and they are not being applied towards the order, please make sure the 'Use credits towards this purchase' checkbox is selected in the shopping cart page.
        • Over time, as your credits get used up, if you have insufficient credits in your account for an order, you will still be able to confirm an order; however your order total will no longer be $0 (zero dollars) and you will owe the amount shown in the order total. You can either pay this balance online via PayPal at the time of order, or you can choose COD and pay at the time of pickup.

7. I prepaid for custom box orders. How do these credits work and where can I check my balance?

As soon as you order a prepayment option, your account will be credited for the ordered amount, and the credits balance is shown at the top of the page after you sign in to your account.

Prepaid credits serve as cash equivalent and are automatically used as cash substitute to discount your order total.

Available credits are applied on all orders by default, towards the price of CSA Items and Add-on products.

If you have sufficient credits in your account, your order total will show a discounted price of zero and in this case since there is no payment needed so you will not see the PayPal option and your order will be defaulted to COD option.

If you do not have any credits remaining, or are close to exhausting any remaining credits, your order total will be greater than zero and you owe the amount shown in the order total.  

8. How do I cancel an order?

  • You can cancel COD orders on your own, from the Orders page, provided you cancel it with enough lead time (typically 24 hours) ahead of the scheduled pickup date and time that was selected in the calendar at the time of placing the order.
  • For Non-COD orders (i.e. paying/paid online at the time of order)
    • If you are in the middle of placing order and are on the PayPal screen, simply abandoning the PayPal page (not paying online) or clicking on the Cancel link on PayPal page will cancel your order.
    • If you have already confirmed an order and paid with PayPal, please email us at thefarmersdaughtercsa@gmail.com 

9. I somehow ended up on SharedMall.com. How do I continue with FarmersDaughterCSA.com?

SharedMall is a common platform like Amazon.com, hosting websites and storefronts from a variety of businesses across the US. In the event that you perform an action that takes you to SharedMall.com or any other website hosted on SharedMall, you can continue with your FarmersDaughterCSA order by entering FarmersDaughterCSA.com in the browser.
